CHIMA’S TRADITION
Chima takes its name from chimarrão, a traditional Brazilian drink and a symbol of warmth and hospitality.
Our tradition was shaped by the gauchos from the South of Brazil – beef seasoned simply, cooked slowly
over open flame, shared generously at the table.
In 2003, the Silva family introduced this experience to the United States, opening the first Chima in Fort Lauderdale.
Today, Chima continues to honor that legacy through its authentic Brazilian rodízio,
refined service, and a commitment to hospitality at every level.
